Karen Kerschmann, LCSW
Her contribution to diagnostic assessment and research has been acknowledged in the American Psychiatric Association’s DSM-5. Furthermore, her work on the cognitive behavioral process in adolescents has garnered acknowledgement in the professional journal, The Review of Education, Pedagogy & Cultural Studies.
Her international endeavors include intensive training at the Mediation Centre in Melbourne, Australia, where she played a role in the conception and development of the CRESS program, parent-adolescent-school mediation initiative.
Prior to her postgraduate journey, Ms. Kerschmann attained a bachelor’s degree in political science, with a specialized emphasis on law and political psychology.
Ms. Kerschmann offers pro bono sessions for first-generation college students.
